Smaaken Gelato was born in the heart of Umdloti, originally a small passion project known as Love and Gelato. The name came from our deep appreciation for good food and the joy of sharing it with others.

 

Our gelato is inspired by countless unforgettable family trips to Italy — each scoop is a tribute to tradition, taste, and togetherness. We’re committed to crafting honest, no-nonsense gelato using pure, wholesome ingredients and farm-fresh milk and cream.
